DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

STEMA Risk Management was established to answer a growing need: supporting the custodians of our cultural heritage who face pressures they cannot meet alone.

“Our philosophy is to design measures that preserve both access and engagement.”

My perspective is shaped by years of operational work in high-risk environments and security leadership at a major European museum. I have managed the daily realities of protecting large, publicly accessible collections—from art-crime prevention and insider risks to visitor operations and emergency response. I know firsthand how easily vulnerabilities can arise, and how critical it is to strengthen protection before an incident occurs.

We understand the complex risks that threaten an institution’s mission today:

To address these, I work with a trusted group of specialists who have walked in your shoes. Our team combines expertise in facility protection, digital resilience, and governance—many of whom have worked directly within cultural institutions.

This allows us to move beyond theory. We deliver guidance that is practical, multidisciplinary, and aligned with the daily life of a museum. We help you build structures that protect what cannot be replaced, ensuring you can carry out your responsibility with confidence.

As risks evolve, STEMA ensures you remain prepared.
